In celebration of World Earth Day, we brought together volunteers, NGOs, and private companies in Benin City, Edo State, in collaboration with the Oredo Local Government, to participate in a community sensitization and sanitation exercise organized by the Nigeria Green Earth Initiative (NGEI) in the Ogbe and Oba Palace axis of the Oredo Local Government.
NGEi and Partners Lead the Charge Against Plastic Pollution on World Earth Day
In alignment with the global theme of "Planet vs Plastic," the Nigeria Green Earth Initiative (NGEi) spearheaded a collaborative effort to combat plastic pollution on World Earth Day 2024. Joined by esteemed partners such as the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Edo State, Egor Local Government, LEAP Africa, Nigerian Youth Future Funds (NYFF), and the Ministry of Environment and Sustainability, NGEi embarked on a multifaceted campaign to raise awareness and inspire action against the pervasive issue of plastic pollution.
